Keeping safe on the streets
Sleeping rough can be dangerous, especially for women. Eaves can try to find you emergency accommodation, and we may be able to talk to the council on your behalf.
If you have experienced or are at risk of violence and require housing advice please call 020 7735 2062 between 9:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
There isn’t enough emergency accommodation for everyone in London. If you end up with nowhere to sleep, try to find reliable, safe friends to stay with.
If you do have to sleep on the streets, try to sleep somewhere warm and public, such as a hospital’s Accident & Emergency department, a night bus or a police station.
